As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “I have a dream…,” we at the “Nehemiah” Charity also have a dream: “For Cobani to become a better place to live, with opportunities for children, youth, and adults.” We hope that a small part of our dream has come true with the completion and official opening event of the sports court and children’s playground, which took place yesterday, April 3rd, in Cobani. The participation of locals, representatives from the first and second-level local public authorities, as well as special guests from the funders, People in Need Moldova and the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, led by His Excellency Ambassador Jānis Mažeiks, made the event truly special and unique.
We have yet another opportunity to thank all those involved throughout 2023-2024 for successfully completing the work so that the residents of Cobani and visitors can benefit from it. Thank you, dear Cobani residents! We’ve shown that together, anything is possible!
